1. This free printable is for a Snowman Candy Bar Wrapper. This wrapper fits on to store-bought candy bars. You can then hand out these DIY handmade Christmas chocolates. These Christmas Chocolate wrappers fit on Aldi chocolates as well as Hersheys small bars. Print on to 6×4 photo paper for correct sizing.
2. A little trick, if you would like for the 7 oz and 1.55 oz candy wrappers below is to tape the end flaps of the candy bar to the front of the wrapper so that they will not stick out on the ends. You want to wrap these chocolate bar wrappers over the original candy bar packaging without removing the original packaging.

Happy holidays! Today, I have free printable penguin candy bar wrappers to share with you. This critter from the North Pole will fit around a standard size Hershey’s chocolate bar. Print off several to make quick handmade gifts to hand out to family, friends, and neighbors. To personalize, add a scarf from fleece scraps or use pom poms and pipe cleaners to make earmuffs.

The first thing you will need to do is download the printable PDF below. Please note that you may use the PDF for personal use ONLY (no commercial use).

Today I have an early Christmas gift for you – free printable Santa candy bar wrappers! Use your color printer to print the PDF (available below), then cut out good old Saint Nick and wrap him around a regular-sized Hershey’s candy bar. It’s a gift that the kiddos – or really, anyone who likes chocolate – will love!

You can probably figure out how to make these from just looking at the picture above, but below, I have a few quick instructions to follow.

PENGUIN CANDY BAR WRAPPERS – STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Supplies:

• free printable penguin candy bar wrappers (see link above)
• a PDF program, such as Adobe Reader, to open the document
• color printer
• paper (for my penguin, I used presentation paper)
• scissors or paper trimmer
• double-sided tape or tape runner
• regular size Hershey candy bars (1.55 oz/43 g)

Optional Supplies:

• fabric scraps for scarf (to prevent unraveling, I recommend fleece)
• pipe cleaners and pom poms for ear muffs
• hot glue gun to attach pipe cleaners and pom poms

STEP ONE: Download and Print the Template

Download the template and open in Adobe Reader or other PDF program. The message on the back of the template is editable so that you can easily personalize it.

For printing, you could use regular copy paper or card stock. However, for best results, I recommend using presentation paper. Regular copy paper is too thin, while card stock is usually too thick. For my penguin, I used Epson Premium Matte Presentation Paper. It’s heavy duty but not too thick to fold around the candy bar. The Epson paper is also ultra smooth and has a special coating that ensures a smudge-free finish. As a side note, I have an HP printer. Even though I have a different brand printer, the paper works well with my ink.

STEP TWO: Cut and Adhere

After the template is done printing, allow the ink to dry for a minute or two, and then cut it out. You can use scissors, but I recommend a paper trimmer for quick, straight cuts. Wrap the template around the candy bar, visually lining up the “face” of the template with the front of the candy bar. To adhere, I used my Scotch ATG tape gun, but you could use double-sided tape or any permanent adhesive tape runner.

STEP THREE: Get Crafty

At this point, your penguin could be done. However, you can also easily embellish it with any craft supplies that you have on hand. For my penguin candy bar wrapper, I cut a thin strip from fabric scraps and used it for a scarf. For the earmuffs, I cut a 4-inch segment from a red pipe cleaner. I then adhered small poms poms to each end of the pipe cleaner using my hot glue gun. Once the glue had dried, I shaped it into the shape of earmuffs. I added two small dabs of hot glue to either side of my penguin’s head, and attached the earmuffs.
